I spotted this scene back in February while walking around downtown. I just love Garageland’s sign-how could I not paint it after that? And the Budweiser truck adds a great pop of color to a grey late winter’s day (painted in the sweltering heat of summer, imagining a chill in the air!)

I see this door every time I head down 2nd Ave to go to the galleries on Adams St and I just love how ornate it is. I’d love to know the history of this building. I know it is part of a historic district but not much else. Also the address is S 178 …

More attempts to stay cool in the summer time by using my imagination (We don’t have air conditioning!). This is the Woman’s Club, on the lower South Hill. It’s a gorgeous little historic building and every November I do a holiday show there and while I’m trying to hold onto August with all I’ve got, I know that snow and winter is just around the corner.
