Arborcrest Art & Glass-This Weekend!~

I’ve been fortunate enough to have two different organizations to make a painting for their advertising and marketing. You have all seen my Kendall Yards Night Market Painting, but I thought I’d show you guys how it turned out when their graphic designer added all the event information to it. I had a lot of fun walking around Kendall Yards and seeing “my poster” up in all the store fronts!

Arborcrest Art & Glass is another organization that reached out to me! I’m going to actually be at this show with all my paintings and prints AND my new calendar this Saturday and Sunday. I hope you guys will be able to come by and say hi!

The original painting. I so love the swooping swallows at Arborcrest. I stand close to the edge of the cliff and pretend that I’m soaring over the Spokane Valley with them.

I love how the poster came out! It’s a bit hard to tell in a photo but the designed pulled the yellow background in the bottom half of the poster from the paint I used on the yellow building. In person you can see the slight paint granulation creating texture behind the fonts. I love details like that!

Coming up next: Some of my recent paintings and adventures at Lake Crescent with a friend!
