Fall Fun

Hello everyone!

I am in your inbox today with a potpourri of things to share.

First, here is a sketch done while working my shift at the artist’s table at the From Here store in RiverPark Square. If you didn’t already know-Terrain runs a store full of the work of local artists and once a month, each of us comes in to work in the store! It’s a great spot to find gifts for people and has my cards, prints, puzzles and some originals.

I have had quite a few students reach out that are interested in keeping up the art practice they’ve started with me so I decided to whip together this class at my beloved Spokane Art Supply. You can call them (or drop by) to sign up and even if you haven’t taken a class with me or with anyone for watercolors, you’re welcome to join! I’m looking forward to painting with you all!

I had the fun of working on a completely new to me project-making custom shirts using my painting of the Garbage Goat. The customer is planning a fun family photo for her Christmas cards in these outfits. Unshown, but at the bottom of the shirt, it says “Spokane, WA 2026”. So cool to see a design of mine on a shirt!

This painting is a rather unusual commission that came my way. Painting people’s garden’s isn’t that uncommon, but painting dragon yard art is! Love the inspiration and the change of pace and makes me want some giant yard art of my own.

I’ll leave you with this-our golden days, slowly dwindling in light, but full of glory. Fall is my favorite season of the year and I am out to relish every minute of it. Hopefully I’ll see you out there!
