Thank you!

This is your Public Service Announcement to get yourself down to the Spokane River. Right now is the time when the water is high and you can stand on the various bridges across the river and feel the spray on your face. Hurray for life with a river in the middle of it!

I’m also going to be participating in the Spokane Drawing Rally, which is a very fun live drawing/painting event that benefits the Spokane Art School. Come and watch me fling paint around and try to pull together a large painting in an hour!

Spokane Drawing Rally

A Benefit for the Spokane Art School

DATE:  Saturday, April 20, 2024

TIME:  5 to 9 PM

PLACE:  Spokane Art School, 503 East 2nd Ave., Suite B, Spokane, WA 99202

The SDR is a drawing event and fundraiser featuring local artists.  The event consists of three one-hour rounds with the artists drawing simultaneously.  Part performance art, part laboratory, part art bazaar, the SDR is an incredible opportunity to go behind the studio walls and watch some of your favorite Spokane artists create original drawings from a blank page.  As each round is completed, the drawings will be immediately hung up and made available for a fixed price of $75.  If more than one person wishes to purchase an original drawing, the winner will be determined by drawing straws.

Perry Street Farmer’s Market Adventures!

A burst of summer for all of us in the form of tomatoes! This painting will be made into cards to be sold for the benefit of the Perry Street Farmers Market!

They also asked me to do the poster for their 2024 season which I was honored to do! It is such a great market. It was the first Farmers Market I ever visited in Spokane and it still holds a special place in my heart.
