Bloomsday Start

I stood leaning up against a street light to sketch the starting line for Bloomsday, working as fast as I could because I could hear the announcements that they were going to start soon. I managed to get most of the color down just as they removed the barriers and the crowd flooded forward. Thank goodness I was standing up against a pole, otherwise I would have been swept away with the crowd and had to run Bloomsday whether I wanted to or not!
